Oren and I are having a GREAT time in NY. Here is a short recap. We are staying with my Aunt Helene, Uncle Barry, and Cousins Jamie and Trisha in Rockland County. On Monday we went into NYC on a train. We ate with my friend Melanie for lunch, took one of the double Decker buses around the city and met my cousin Cathy and her husband Sean for dinner and dessert. Today we will relax and go to the mall. Wednesday we are picking up Karen, Gili and Maya (Oren’s sister, brother-in-law and niece) at JFK and going to Oren and Karen’s Great Aunt and Uncles House for the day.

Our Travel Information

We Depart for Israel tomorrow, Wednesday. Our Flight is at 7:55pm on El Al out of JFK. We will arrive in Israel on Thursday at 1:55pm. We are excited to fly with our family. We decided if our one year old niece is in a good mood we will play with her on the flight. If she is cranky we will take sleeping pills and laugh at her parents. When we arrive in Israel we will be staying in Tel Aviv for a couple of nights with Gili’s family. I hope to make it to the beach, since they live a block away. On Saturday we will head to Jerusaelm. We will stay at a place called Beit Canada, until we find a place of our own. After we are settled Oren and I will travel to Kibbutz Ein Ha Shofet and Kinneret to visit family. The best way to keep in touch with us is e-mail. You can, also, call us on Oren’s cell phone. This will be our permanent home phone number in Israel. Remember, we are 8 hours ahead of you. While we will appreciate your phone calls, we will be cranky at 2am. When time allows, I will write a more detailed entry of our adventure! We hope everyone is well and we already miss you!
