Quick Update from Suzy and Oren We Arrived in Israel last Thursday We stayed 2 nights in Tel Aviv at Gili's Parents House. They live right on the beach. It is very beautiful. We want to make this our weekend home!!! We hope to have pictures up soon. We rented a Mazda 3. Oren is doing a good job driving. Israeli drivers are crazy. They don't know the meaning of stay in your lane and only honk if necessary. Cool Fact- When a traffic light goes from Red to Green it warns you by blinking the yellow light. Same with when it turns from green to red. The green blinks twice and then the yellow warns you it is about to change. The Israeli Ferrell Cats are everywhere. While we love Chutzpah, we are not so sure about the wild ones. We have some funny pictures of cats. Good Thing Oren Speaks Hebrew!!! They say most Israeli's speak English, but it really is not that easy to get around. If it wasn't for Oren, I don't know what we I would do. It is a bit overwhelming but ok! Jerusalem is beautiful. We have seen a lot of it because we keep getting lost! The street signs are impossible to read. You need a magnified glass. No wonder Israel has a high accident rate. The maps leave out many street names causing us to get turned around. We are looking for an apartment near Ein Karem, Jerusalem. So far we visited 3 apartments in cities near by. Hopefully we will make a decision in the next week. Tomorrow Oren and I are starting an Ulpan. Oren will work on his reading and writing. I will work on the whole package. We hope to write more soon! Right now, our internet access is limited! When we are settled it will be easier to communicate. The main thing is we are doing fine. We miss you all and can't wait to hear from you.
