We are happy to let everyone know that Ella is a very healthy newborn. As with most newborns, Ella lost some weight before leaving the hospital. She was born at 5lb 3oz and came home weighing 4lb 11oz. At her first Dr. appt. at 4 days old she gained 4oz and the Dr. said she is thriving. Often times an early baby and one that is so small have trouble feeding. Luckily, she is a GREAT eater (which keeps Mommy and Aba up all night). Ella will go back for her 2 week appointment and we pray to continue getting such great reports.
