Have you ever gone through a day and forgotten what day it was? Last night through this morning, I thought it was Wednesday. It was a nice surprise to realize the weekend is here! I worked 40+ hours Sunday through Wednesday and now its Thursday (like Friday in the States). Some of my work is interesting and some is boring. Unfortunately that is the nature of starting in a relatively new field for me (Accounting internship in the US and now KPMG in Israel, total 1 year real; Accounting).
I am jealous and proud of my brother, Leran. Today he landed in North Carolina. For those who do not know, he is a very politically and socially concerned person. In the Dallas area he was very active by working on campaigns, putting together new events and speaking publicly. Now at UT Austin, he has created a new organization and participated similarly in that community. He was going to work temp jobs in Dallas over the summer, however in less than a week an opportunity fell on him. Siler City, NC is where he should be at the time I post this blog. I found this article in reference to what he will be a part of there - Townsend Company and immigrants. Through a professor he received an email and then an offer to work on the campaign there to help the workers. I guess I could say he is a paid political consultant. Although, he may not continue in this field and he may be relegated to boring-basic work, this is good experience for him. It was a few months before I was 21 when I started traveling doing IT work around the country. He will be 21 this summer. I hope this works out for the best, but just the fact he has the chance is great.
Ah, to be 20 and “on the road again…” (to quote Willie)

You guys are silly. I did just check out Leran's Myspace the other day, coincidently. I didn't realize he was so active. Good for him! Hope you guys are doing well!
Thanks for the kind words... I'm going to try to squeeze some in to restart up my blog. Miss you both
