So... I am finally done with my degree and I can breathe easy, maybe not. I am starting online classes for a master in just a few weeks. At least some pressure is off. Now all I have to worry about is packing, Peru, packing, then Israel.
After some encouragement from Suzanne, August 2003 I returned to school. I went to Dallas and Collin County Community College. After a full year I spent 2 full years at UTD. 3 years of Fall, Spring and Summer... I guess it was worth it :)
Only thing I have to add about this, at 18 and straight out of High School, I completed some college work. I quickly bounced between schools (getting decent grades), but was not ready to take it seriously. I tried out many random classes. This week I am graduating. I probably soaked in 10 times as much and care much more about the knowledge as I would have 10 years ago. Sometimes you are just not ready or other worth while opportunities arise. It was worth the wait - outdoors adventures, a job that allowed me to travel the US and lots of other experiences.
